Large trunk

The trunk on our Gold Wing Tour models holds 61 liters. That means you can typically get two full-face helmets in there.

• Engine
  The horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine is famously smooth and powerful. The latest version is an 1833cc design that’s over 13 pounds lighter than previous generations (more than eight pounds less for our DCT trims).

• Aluminum cylinder sleeves
  High-strength aluminum cylinder sleeves help reduce weight, increase cooling efficiency, and reduce engine length. The 73mm cylinder bore and the short, high-strength crankshaft also help make the engine more compact.

• Unicam® cylinder head design
  The Unicam® cylinder head design with four valves per cylinder improves engine performance and power.

• Twin-wall exhaust pipes
  You may think this is just for cosmetics, but single-wall exhaust pipes can throw off a lot of heat on a hot day. The twin-wall design keeps things cooler. Not to mention, this is the best-sounding Gold Wing we’ve ever built.

• Double wishbone front suspension
  The radical double-wishbone front suspension delivers stellar handling and gives the bike a sleek, sporty appearance. The innovative design changes the wheel's path, letting us move both the engine and rider/passenger closer to the front wheel.

• Frame
  This latest generation all-aluminum frame is significantly lighter and more compact than previous editions. State-of-the-art die-casting lets us fine-tune chassis rigidity, giving you a smooth ride and precise handling.

• Swingarm/rear suspension
  Using our proprietary single-sided Pro Arm® design, the aluminum swingarm houses the shaft drive. The swingarm links to the frame using a patented pivot structure that both increases stiffness and reduces weight, so you get responsive handling and a smoother ride.

• Anti-Lock Braking System
  All models are equipped with our combined Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for excellent stopping power under a wide variety of road and traction conditions.

• Lighter overall weight
  The latest Gold Wing is almost 90 pounds lighter than the previous generation, making it even more fun to ride on twisty roads.

• Low center of gravity
  The weight distribution of a motorcycle is just as important as its overall weight when it comes to handling. With its horizontally opposed engine, the latest model boasts the lowest center of gravity in its class, resulting in excellent handling.

• Dual radial front brake calipers
  The dual brake calipers on these bikes are mounted radially, similar to that of our World Champion RC213V MotoGP racebike. The stiffer mounting reduces caliper flex and improves brake power and feel.

• Seven-speed automatic DCT
  Available with our revolutionary seven-speed automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), the shifts are fast and smooth, and the overdrive seventh gear is perfect for highway cruising.

• Six-speed manual transmission
  If you prefer a manual transmission, our latest model offers the best conventional gearbox in Gold Wing history. A case in point is an overdrive sixth gear, so highway cruising is supremely smooth.

• Ride modes
  The engine offers a wide range of user-friendly power, and you can even choose between four ride modes (Tour, Sport, Rain, and Econ), with each mode varying the power output so you can tailor the bike to your current riding conditions.

• Hill Start Assist
  All models offer Hill Start Assist (HSA). This feature momentarily holds your motorcycle’s position on inclines after you’ve released the brakes and before you apply the throttle, eliminating any roll-back.

• Reverse
  The DCT models offer an exclusive low-speed reverse that uses engine power, while the manual-transmission bikes offer a unique electric reverse. Both systems make maneuvering your bike out of parking spaces easier, especially if you need to roll back up an incline.

• Throttle by wire
  The throttle-by-wire system enables features like the bike’s four ride modes and our exclusive Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

• Integrated Starter Generator (ISG)
  We’ve combined the starter and alternator into one assembly that’s light and compact. It’s part of the overall weight-savings program. You’ll hear the difference the first time you press the start button.

• Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
  On all models, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) monitors your bike’s rear-wheel speed and instantly adjusts torque. It’s a great feature when riding in the rain or anywhere surface conditions compromise traction.

• Airbag
  Honda pioneered the concept of a motorcycle airbag, and the latest Tour model continues to lead the way. Available as an option to help increase rider safety — because we care.

• Nano-tech paint
  Even the paint is high-tech, using BASF’s nano technology. The darks look darker, the lights look brighter, and the paint itself has a luxurious feel.

• Functional styling
  While the bodywork still offers excellent weather protection, it’s crisper now, exposing a little more of the engine and chassis. It’s definitely not your grandfather’s touring bike.

• Walking Mode
  All DCT models feature “Walking Mode,” which lets you creep forward or backward under power at a walking pace. Just think how easy it will be to get in and out of tight parking spots with a fully loaded bike.

• Cruise control
  The Gold Wing was one of the first touring bikes to offer cruise control, and with our advanced throttle-by-wire system, it’s better than ever.

• Large trunk
  The Tour trunk holds 61 liters. That means in most cases, you can get two full-face helmets in there. Combined, the trunk and saddlebags give you 121 liters of storage, plenty to hold what you need for a weekend’s travels.

• Electric windscreen
  The windscreen is electrically controlled and provides excellent protection from the elements, moving both up and down over a 4.9-inch range and changing its angle as it raises and lowers. Plus, it automatically remembers the last setting.

• Fairing
  The full-coverage fairing offers excellent wind and weather protection, yet is trimmer and more aerodynamic than in previous generation models. It also flows more air through refined ducting, helping keep you cooler on hot summer days.

• Rider/passenger seating
  All models feature seats with a custom-feel suede-like cover. The rider on every model can enjoy an optional backrest, and on our models without a trunk, there’s an optional backrest for the passenger.

• Luggage
  All models feature integrated saddlebags that are designed to hold enough for most weekend trips. The bags open electronically with the push of a button and lock and unlock remotely with the smart key.

• Heated grips
  Part of riding a bike is enjoying the elements. But nobody likes being cold. That’s why all models come equipped with electric heated grips as standard equipment.

• Heated seat
  A little bit of luxury for both you and your passenger, and much appreciated on a cold morning. An added touch: both you and your passenger get your own individual temperature controls.

• Comprehensive accessory lineup
  With over 35 accessories designed specifically for your Gold Wing, it’s easy to custom tailor your bike to your individual wants and needs.

• Honda SMART Key
  When the electronic smart key is nearby, you can hop on, press a button, and ride off. Plus, an “answer back” feature lets you find your bike in the dark or a crowded rally parking lot.

• LED lighting
  All models feature a complete LED lighting package. The headlights, taillights, and every bit of instrumentation are LED, which last longer, are lighter, and run cooler.

• Advanced meters
  The cockpit meters are information central. In addition to the basics like vehicle and engine speed, ride mode, fuel level, and more, you can also monitor outside air temperature, cruise control speed, and even connect wirelessly to Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™.

• HomeLink®
  Available as an optional feature, HomeLink® lets you integrate your new bike with devices in your home, such as your garage door opener, via a switch on your bike’s center console.

• Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  Correct tire inflation is a necessity for safe, economical motorcycling. And it’s especially critical with a touring bike because of the varying loads. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) automatically warns you of low tire pressure on all models.

• Apple CarPlay™ wireless connectivity
  Apple’s CarPlay™* seamlessly integrates your iPhone®* into your bike. Available Bluetooth®**- let you communicate more easily than ever.

• Android Auto™ wireless connectivity
  If you have an Andriod, we have you covered. The 2026 model fully integrates with your phone, thanks to Android Auto™. Available Bluetooth*-compatible headsets let you communicate easily. Wireless connectivity is new for 2025.

• Navigation
  Every model is equipped with a big, bright, seven-inch, full-color TFT LCD screen to display routes and other navigation information. Plus, since it’s equipped with a gyrocompass, the system even functions inside a tunnel.

• Audio
  In addition to listening to music, with an available Bluetooth* headset, the audio system lets you make or answer phone calls without taking off your helmet and features a standard USB connector. Plus, there’s a second USB connector in the left saddlebag of all models.

• 55-watt speakers
  Our current speakers have a high 55-watt rating, and we’ve optimized both the equalizer settings and automatic volume adjustment, so you’ll get a sound that’s a little richer and more pleasing to the ears.
