All-New Yamaha Auto-Shift Technology

• The enhanced six-speed transmission on the new YXZ1000R SS now also includes all-new Yamaha Auto-Shift Technology, providing the Pure Sport, direct-connection feeling to drivers who prefer automatic transmission, with the flexibility of switching to a manual gear selection for the ultimate direct-connection experience. Through a new dash-mounted dial, users can select between three transmission modes: “Auto", “Sport Auto" and “Sport Shift".

Enhanced Clutch Setup

• The new YXZ1000R SS features a new clutch setup with an all-new hub with radiating fins, added oil-lubrication ports for maximized heat dissipation, and new YCC-S programming to provide increased clutch durability.

Enhanced Six-Speed Transmission

• The industry’s only six-speed manual transmission, optimized for performance in bothhigh- and low-speed situations with updated gear ratios, including a 40% lower first gear. Increased clutch durability delivers greater confidence during operation, while simultaneously improving driver comfort at slower speeds.

Higher Electrical Output for Accessorization

• To further tailor your YXZ1000R SS to REALize Your Adventure, the new YXZ features a higher electrical output, supporting more customization for accessories. The high-output ACM provides 1,000 watts of electricity, allowing for more accessories without horsepower loss. Additionally, four electrical ports are added—two toward the front and two in the rear—for easier and faster accessory installation.
